How-to Save Your Android Phone's Battery without Application
1. Change the signal
Many smartphones now have set the WCDMA or 3G signal as the default. It doesn't matter if you are living in a big city where the signal is very good. In fact, it will help you to transfer data faster. But, it does matter if you are in an area where there is no 3G signal. Then you have to change your signal connection from WCDMA or 3G to 2G or simply just turn off your internet connection.
2. Use Wifi
If you are in a place with wifi, connect your phone with the wifi. By doing so you will save more battery rather than when you browse the internet through your SIM card provider.
3. Cut all the unnecessary connection
If you are no longer in the wifi area, turn it off to prevent your phone scanning wifi connection. Also, turn off your Bluetooth connection when you are no longer using it. Just turn the Bluetooth and wifi connection when you need them.
4. Turn off GPS and location tracing
GPS and location tracing are good features that smartphones have nowadays. They tell you your position when you got lost and help you to find a way to certain places. But only use it when you need. If you keep turn it on everyday, your Android phone's battery will drain easily.
5. Reduce the brightness
Reducing the brightness of your Android screen will help you save your battery.

6. Reduce the volume and turn off the vibration
The higher the volume you set on your smartphone and the vibration will drain your battery. It's wise to reduce the volume for the sake of your ear and battery. Also, turn on the vibration feature only when you are on the meeting or similar situation.
7. Use dark background
If you have AMOLED screen on your smartphone, it's better to use dark background because AMOLED screen only lights the colored pixels and leaves the black pixels.
8. Turn off all animation
Having animation on your smartphone is cool, but do you know that it also consumes more battery? Turn it off if you don't need it.
9. Use Power Saver Mode
Almost all new smartphones have this mode installed on. You can activate this Power Saver Mode to prolong your battery. The Power Saver Mode will cut all the unnecessary connections automatically when your Android is idle.

10. Uninstall applications that drain battery
Go to the Power Statics to see what applications that use the battery a lot. If you think you don't need the applications, you can just uninstall it.
11. Use Airplane Mode
It's best to turn on the Airplane Mode when you are in a place that don't have signal or hard to find phone's signal. Or to put it simply, you can just turn your phone off.
12. Get rid of the unused Widgets
Did you know that the more you have widget on your home screen, the faster you run out of battery? Yup. Widgets can be one of the causes why your smartphones battery exhausted faster. Get rid of the unused Widgets will solve the problem.
13. Sync
Only sync what you need the most. Don't let your phone sync everything you have on you phone.
14. Update your applications
Update your applications regularly. The developers usually give a better battery usage in the application updates.
