- The first step is "Enable USB Debugging" on your Zenfone 5. Follow the tutorial here if you haven't done this before.
- Extract the Intel USB Driver for Android devices and install it on your computer.
- Now connect your phone to your computer.
- Extract the ZenfoneRootKit and you will have a file named Root.bat.
- Run the program, Root.bat, to perform rooting on your ZenFone 5.
- A notification will appear, "Press any key to continue", just press any key on your keyboard to continue the rooting process.
